It’s no secret that I have a lot of clients with their own blogs or YouTube channels, and in most cases it’s the first time they’ve worked with a professional photographer. It can a little daunting to have a stranger pointing a DSLR at you when you’re used to your mum or significant other taking your photos. What are you supposed to wear? How do you pose? I appreciate that it might be overwhelming, so I thought I’d write this post or anyone who’s thinking of investing in a photoshoot soon… and no, it doesn’t have to be with me! (But, you know, I’m pretty good. Just saying.)

I never thought I'd be writing a post like this, because from the age of 22 my dream was to be a "YouTuber". But I just don't love YouTube anymore. Back in 2012, I had just started a Masters Degree, and was overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. YouTube was (or at least felt like) a safe place for me to escape.

Yes. I'm that person. I've started a bullet journal.I was like you, once. I thought that bullet journals would take far too long, and that I didn't have the drawing skills or enough patience to pull it off. But like that mascara that I didn't want to buy until literally every single beauty guru started talking about it on their channel, the idea of the bullet journal buried it's way into my subconscious and eventually... it grew on me.
Last week, I went to Leeds to hang out with the gorgeous Rachel from Full Flourish. We've known each other since we had a few hundred subscribers between us, and now her channel is really growing and I couldn't be happier for her.
I travel to Leeds quite a lot as most of my mother's side of the family live over there, but believe it or not I've never actually walked around the city.
Last week I got to hang out with Joeli from Joeli Creates. She wanted some headshots and pictures of her working to use on her website, and I was more than happy to assist. We went to Ziferblat in the Northern Quarter for the productivity shots, which I'd highly recommend as a venue for any creative projects.
