If you enjoy using natural skincare products, you'll want to hear about the brand Amelia Moss. They recently contacted me and asked if I'd like to try some of their products, so I had a quick look on their website to check them out, and they sounded like just the sort of people I wanted to work with. My skin is very picky and flares up when treated with perfumes or harsh chemicals, so I really liked the look of all their products as they're 100% natural, as well as being sustainably sourced and cruelty-free. Just to fill you in on my skin type: I have dry skin, though my nose and chin seem to be getting more oily in the warmer months. I would probably say my skin is dehydrated as it seems to drink up foundation, and definitely sensitive and prone to redness.
I got to try their Argan Oil*, and the Organic Rose Water*, which arrived beautifully packaged. After cleansing my face, I would take the Rose Water on a cotton pad and use it as a toner. The scent was pleasant and it didn't irritate my skin or leave it feeling tight like a lot of toners - it actually felt hydrating and soothing. I do seem to be getting through it rather quickly, but it's working and I enjoy using it so I don't mind.
After that, I would use a few drops of the Argan Oil and apply it to my face and neck before moisturiser. A little goes a long way with this product, so I have a feeling that this will last me for a very long time. Like I said, I have dry skin with some oily areas, and this product was fine all over my face. It was hydrating enough for the drier areas, but not so thick and greasy that it clogged up the oily parts of my face.
I've been using the products for a few weeks now as part of my evening skincare routine. Right away I noticed that I always woke up to softer skin and that my pores appeared smaller. Over time, I've noticed that my skin isn't as blotchy, a lot of the redness has really evened out, and some of my fine lines aren't as visible.
Just in case you can't tell, I'm pretty much in love with the Argan Oil and Rose Water. Natural skincare works wonderfully for me, and if you prefer products without harsh chemicals then you'll love them, too.
