Shop My Stash: Autumn Edition

makeup revolution flawless palette

There are two kinds of bloggers: the ones who post hauls every other week and rave about the new launches, and the ones who post 'Pan That Product' updates and try to use up everything they have. I've previously been the former, but now I'm really trying to get more use out of my collection and not buy as many thing. With that in mind, I thought I'd rummage through all my products and find some neglected treasures to use on an everyday basis.

No7 Colour Calming Primer in 'Green'

I've been really into colour correcting recently, it seems to work much better on me than layering foundation and concealer over my skin redness. I'd forgotten all about this green primer from No7,  and I don't know why because it's great to mix with moisturiser or primer. I think this will really speed up my morning makeup routine and help neutralise redness without caking on so much makeup.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Professional Eyeshadow Palette in 'Flawless'

I don't think it's possible to have a more Autumnal eyeshadow palette. I have so many bronze and gold eyeshadows that I could have picked, but I thought I would go for this one as it has so much variety that I could make a different look every day... plus, I'm pretty sure that I haven't used it since last Autumn. I have no idea why, because most of the shades in here are seriously pigmented and beautiful. I'm looking forward to giving this one a bit more attention.

Technic Highlighter

This is gorgeous, but up until recently I've never got on with cream highlighters/blushers/bronzers/contours. Since then I've discovered that the £1.50 Stippling Brush from Primark is perfect for the job (buy seven and thank me later) so I'm getting more wear out of my neglected cream products.

L'Oreal Cream Contour Kit in 'Light'

While we're discussing cream products, I also want to get more use out of this cream contour kit. I won't make any promises about the highlight shade because I never use it, it's literally the same colour as my skintone and does nothing for me. But the contour blends wonderfully. I want to use this more when I'm filming with a powder contour on top, as my studio lights really wash out my face.

Makeup Gallery Lipstick in '04 Choca Moca'

I actually only got this a few weeks ago, but I haven't used it because I haven't been wearing any lipsticks at all while it's been so hot. But now that there's a bit of a chill in the air, I'm really excited to wear all of my lipsticks again, and I'll be starting with this lovely brown-red shade.

I'm really looking forward to giving these products a little more love. Let me know if you'll be rummaging through your makeup drawers, too!
