On Friday, I met my friend Natasha in the city centre. She'd been invited to get a makeover at Charlotte Tilbury and I offered to take some photographs for her. We got there a little early and ended up at Starbucks, where I had the first hot chocolate of Autumn. I'm sure it will be the first of many.

After that, we went to the Charlotte Tilbury counter at Selfridges. We met a lovely makeup artist called Amy who gave Natasha a gorgeous smokey eye makeover, and somehow managed to do so with me clicking my camera every five seconds documenting the process.

This is the finished look, isn't it amazing? You can read about the service in her blog post over here. After that, we wondered around the Arndale Centre for a bit. We had to have a peak at the new Lush store, which is a lot bigger now and feels more spacious than it used to. Natasha also bought herself a hat in Topshop before we found our way to Boots (somehow we always end up in there). I'm quite proud of myself as I managed not to buy too much. I even managed to resist the NYX stand. I must be seriously growing as a person.
