Here are a few things that I've been loving in November:
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Soft Spoken.
You can't go wrong with a deep nineties-inspired nude-brown colour, especially at this time of year. I don't always get on with liquid lipsticks, but this one isn't sticky and lasts all day (even after a few cups of tea). It does feel rather drying though, so lather on the lip balm before you apply.
Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Porcelain.
I love mineral foundation (and so does my sensitive skin), but I can never seem to find one that's affordable, fragrance free, cruelty free, and pale enough for my vampire complexion. Fortunately, this one from Lily Lolo ticks all the boxes! It's super easy to throw on in the morning on top of a green colour corrector or BB Cream to achieve a flawless complexion.
Faux fur coat from Primark.
I went shopping with the fabulous Kelly Michelle recently and of course, we went to Primark on Market Street. I knew I needed a new coat for Winter and then laid my eyes on this beauty. It's super warm, looks really flattering on me, has a detachable fur thingy... and was only £28. I have a feeling this will sell out in no time. (Primark haven't joined the 21st century yet and got an online store, so I've linked a similar one in the shopping widget below.)
Manchester city centre.
Now that I travel a couple of times into the city centre for work, I've really been enjoying Manchester. Not so much the rush hour traffic, but there are definitely a few other things I like about where I live. For starters, my office isn't very far away from my old university so the journey there is always very nostalgic. I don't miss studying, but there was something very fulfilling about the experience as a whole. I'm sure the novelty of my commute will wear off with time, but right now I'm enjoying it.
Bubble baths.
More commuting and more time sat in front of a computer, plus colder days equals more warm baths. They've been heavenly. I like mine the temperature of lava with half a bottle of bubble bath in there.
