I recently went on a little day out to the city centre with my friend Marc (you know Marc, he's that guy from that vlog) and took a few pictures during the day. It was a little crowded, but I still managed to get some shots of alleyways, conversations and cups of coffee.
My Grandparent's Wedding Album
This isn't the first time I've discovered photographs from my grandparent's younger years. I've said before that my mother and I are cleaning out my grandmother's house in Leeds, and we've found a few of my grandfather's photo albums along the way. This one is quite special.
The Charm of Instant Photography
I've had my Fujifilm Instax Mini camera for years (just in case you can't tell by the state of it). I bought it second hand from eBay in my second year of university, and we've seen a lot together in that time.
ZLYC Camera Bag Review
I've been looking for a new camera bag for a while - something to take on day-trips, that could protect my camera but also fit my purse, an umbrella, a makeup bag, and all the other tat I need to carry around with me. Oh, and most importantly: it had to look stylish, and preferably not like a camera bag at all.
Candids No. 3: Liverpool
I took a lot of photos at the #NWMeet 2.0 in Liverpool last month - so many, in fact, that I couldn't include the photographs of the city in that blog post or it would have been too long! But I really wanted to share them, so here they are.
I Found Some of My Grandfather's Slides in a Shoebox in Leeds
I've been travelling to Leeds a lot this year, since my grandma was diagnosed with Dementia and moved into a care home. My mum and I are tidying up her former house and getting it ready to put on the market. During one of our visits I was staying the night in the guest room, and found a yellow shoebox on the floor at the bottom of my bed. It was full of slides taken by my grandfather, who was very fond of photography before his death.
