Portraits
I went to the Lake District to photograph Sarah Weldon; YouTuber and founder of Oceans Project. Oh, and her dog, too. Her dog is adorable. I think documenting a client in their hometown makes the images that bit more special, like you're gazing at their roots and the place that shaped them into a person
Recently I went to Felixstowe to hang out with my friend and fellow YouTuber Lauren Sowter. We had one of the most productive weekends I've had in a long time: we did a photoshoot, both vlogged, and filmed collab videos on our channels.
Last week I got to hang out with Joeli from Joeli Creates. She wanted some headshots and pictures of her working to use on her website, and I was more than happy to assist. We went to Ziferblat in the Northern Quarter for the productivity shots, which I'd highly recommend as a venue for any creative projects.
Blogging & Press Events
Manfrotto recently invited me to attend their blogger's event in Manchester, so obviously I jumped at the chance. I've been to a few blogging events at this point, but never a photography one - so I was very excited to see what they had in store.
Last weekend, I hopped on a train to Liverpool to visit the Very headquarters. They were holding a blogger's event to give us a sneak peek of their #VeryHoliday collection.
When I was invited to the #VikingArtyParty I immediately accepted the invitation - I'm a creative person at heart and I can't say no to an afternoon of crafts. There's nothing I love more than attending a blogging event. It's a great opportunity to meet other bloggers, and people who look vaguely familiar because I stalk them on Twitter. Whatever happens, it's always a fun day.
I love blogging events, and will happily attend as many as I can blag my way into. Last Saturday, I went to #LivHelps in The Dough Bar in Liverpool. As always, I had my camera attached to my face for most of the day, and got some photos that you can see below.
Last Saturday, I was lucky enough to go to the #NWMeet 2.0 in Liverpool, which was organised by the amazing Katy Gilroy (go and say hello to her, she's lovely). I got to meet lots of amazing women who I've been following on Twitter for a while, as well as see some new faces and find some new blogs to read.
Recently I was lucky enough to be invited to the #IWOOTXMAS blogging event at Ziferblat in Manchester. We got to look at the great selection from their Christmas Gifts, decorate mason jars, pick secret santa gifts for each other, and eat cake. I thought I'd share photographs from the day and some of my favourite products, in case you're struggling for present ideas!

I love photographing other bloggers, so I was really looking forward to my shoot with Dionne - otherwise known as DeeDee Louise. Often when I meet bloggers, we try to photograph two or three different outfits in a couple of different locations all on the same day. We had a few ideas of where we wanted to shoot beforehand, but a few decisions were made in the spur of the moment as well.
