Shopping for Summer With #VeryHoliday

Last weekend, I hopped on a train to Liverpool to visit the Very headquarters.

They were holding a blogger's event to give us a sneak peek of their #VeryHoliday collection. The space was beautifully decorated with balloons and bikinis. I'll admit that I'm usually afraid of colour in my wardrobe, but their pieces were so beautiful that I found a few things to put on my wishlist, which you can shop below!

I have to say that I was very impressed with their wardrobe offerings. I tend to stay clear of swimwear as I feel self-conscious about my shape, but they have some very flattering bikinis and beachwear for all shapes and sizes. I've put a few options in my wishlist, including some very pretty mix and match options and controlwear that looks perfect for those with curves like myself.

We were gifted with a few products which I can't wait to try, including the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Copenhagen*, and the NYX Color Correcting Concealer Palette* (which I'm especially excited about, as you guys know how much I love colour correcting - expect to see it in a GRWM on my beauty channel soon). Oh, and there were cupcakes and sweets. You know I'm all about that sugar rush!

As always, it was so lovely to see my friends in the blogging community. I got to catch up with Natasha Summerand natter with Kayleigh from White Daises Beauty, who introduced to Jessi-Lou. I also met Abigail from Blush & Noise for the first time, which was a lovely surprise as I've been subscribed to her YouTube channel for ages. I love getting to see the girls I stalk on Instagram, and these events are a great opportunity to do just that.

Looking at the bright colours and beach-inspired backdrops reminded me that I haven't been abroad in five years. Five. Actual. Years. Thankfully, I'm correcting that this summer. In July, I'm off to visit Charline in Belgium. And yes, I know the weather will probably be exactly the same as it is in the UK... but I'm still really excited to potentially switch up my outfits for something a little brighter.

What's on your holiday shopping list this year? Are you off anywhere nice? Let me know in the comments!
