I visited the C-mine in Genk with Charline during my trip to Belgium. These beautiful buildings are former coal mines that were turned into creative hubs in the early 2000's. Find out more about the C-mine here.
It's hard to put into words just how massive everything is, and I don't know if my photographs can really do it justice, but if you've ever wondered how Alice in Wonderland felt after she ate a mushroom and shrank, wandering around the C-mine is probably going to be a very similar experience.
I thought I'd share the photographs I took as it was such an incredible sight. If you're into industrial exhibits or enjoy going to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, I'd highly recommend a visit.
Have you ever visited Genk?

It’s no secret that I have a lot of clients with their own blogs or YouTube channels, and in most cases it’s the first time they’ve worked with a professional photographer. It can a little daunting to have a stranger pointing a DSLR at you when you’re used to your mum or significant other taking your photos. What are you supposed to wear? How do you pose? I appreciate that it might be overwhelming, so I thought I’d write this post or anyone who’s thinking of investing in a photoshoot soon… and no, it doesn’t have to be with me! (But, you know, I’m pretty good. Just saying.)
