Writer's Block

Writer's Block

Lately, I’ve been hit with writer’s block. Not due to a lack of passion, of course, I love writing blog posts and scripts for videos. But maybe that’s the problem? I find that my “style” doesn’t fit into any pre-defined category. I don’t know where I slot in anymore. I don’t particularly mind if I don’t fit in anywhere, it’s just that it makes it harder to network, promote myself, make connections. How can you tell people about your channel if you can’t really describe it?

One Year on YouTube

One Year on YouTube

Well, look at that - somehow I've managed to upload a video every week* for a whole year! Despite my plans to change my content in 2016, I still want to continue uploading regularly for as long as I'm able to. As I'm writing this, my schedule is busier than ever and I'm currently juggling my channel with a very exciting job, so the next few weeks will be a great test to see how well I can manage YouTube with real-life stuff.

IWOOT Christmas Event

IWOOT Christmas Event

Recently I was lucky enough to be invited to the #IWOOTXMAS blogging event at Ziferblat in Manchester. We got to look at the great selection from their Christmas Gifts, decorate mason jars, pick secret santa gifts for each other, and eat cake. I thought I'd share photographs from the day and some of my favourite products, in case you're struggling for present ideas!

Small Youtube Channels I Love

Small Youtube Channels I Love

When I started my Youtube channel in February, I truly realised how difficult it is to get more views and subscribers. Before I started creating content myself I never really noticed how most people I subscribed to never had less than 100K subscribers already. It's much more difficult for smaller channels to get noticed than it was a few years ago, which is why I thought I'd share a few smaller channels that I really enjoy.
