I met Lauren in "real life" for the first time last weekend, despite having known her for nearly two years. She's exactly the same as she is on her YouTube channel: bright, energetic, and bubbly, but fluent in sarcasm.
I love watching videos. I really do. I have a feeling that my subscription box is probably more varied than most, which might be how I've ended up with two YouTube channels. (One for artsy, creative content; and one where I put makeup on my face; because I couldn't make up my mind). I've left some of my favourites below, who all inspire me for different reasons.
On February 13th, it was my two year anniversary on YouTube. I've certainly come a long way since my very first video (which is over here if you fancy a laugh). I remember being really nervous and talking to a camera just seemed unnatural, and editing took days... but I'm glad I persevered.
Back in January, I announced in a blog post that I wanted to make some changes - mostly to my YouTube channel. I said that I was going to stop doing so many beauty videos, and post more of the things that I had wanted to do previously but didn't think would "fit" on my channel: short films, mental health videos, photoshoots, photography tutorials, and my own artistic version of vlogging... which is exactly what I did.
