Recently I went to Felixstowe to hang out with my friend and fellow YouTuber Lauren Sowter. We had one of the most productive weekends I've had in a long time: we did a photoshoot, both vlogged, and filmed collab videos on our channels.
Channel Chat with Lauren Sowter
I met Lauren in "real life" for the first time last weekend, despite having known her for nearly two years. She's exactly the same as she is on her YouTube channel: bright, energetic, and bubbly, but fluent in sarcasm.
How to Take Flatlay Photos
Even though most flatlays look minimal and effortless, I find that actually taking them yourself is anything but. I made an effort to look for inspiration online and realised that I needed to do a few things differently if I wanted to take Pinterest-worthy photos. I spent some time practicing, and after a bit of trial and error I feel like I've nailed it down.
Joeli's Shoot
Last week I got to hang out with Joeli from Joeli Creates. She wanted some headshots and pictures of her working to use on her website, and I was more than happy to assist. We went to Ziferblat in the Northern Quarter for the productivity shots, which I'd highly recommend as a venue for any creative projects.
Portraits of Natasha Summer
On Saturday I went for a spontaneous shopping trip with my good friend and fellow YouTuber Natasha Summer. Of course, it's scientifically impossible for two bloggers/vloggers to meet up and not document the occasion in some format - so we ended up doing a photoshoot at New Cathedral Street.
