As a beauty blogger, one of my favourite things about the change of season is the new makeup looks that go with it. I've been loving my coral lip stains and pink lip balms over the summer, but I'm really looking forward to being able to wear more makeup in Autumn when it's less humid and reigniting my love for my lipstick collection. In particular there are three opaque, creamy formulas that are perfect for this time of year (in almost identical shades, but slightly different enough to justify owning them all if you're a bit of a hoarder like me).
The Trench Coat
The Glowing Blush Obsession
A glowing complexion is very on-trend right now, and it's perfect for this time of year where your skin starts to get a little bit drier in the colder months. I've been loving shimmery blushes as they often lift the cheekbones, meaning I can skip highlighter - perfect for busy mornings. I've got quite a few in my stash now and to be honest I probably don't need them all, but they're so pretty that I can't help myself when I go shopping.
Goals for September
Maybe it's because I've been a student for the majority of my life, but I've always seen September as the chance for a fresh start. It's always been the beginning of a new academic year, and a potential clean slate, a chance to have completley reinvented yourself over the summer holidays and come back as a whole new person. I always loved that idea.
Accidental Paperchase Haul
To cut a long story short, I recently walked past Paperchase in Manchester when I was feeling rather... emotional. I went inside to take my mind off things and look at some 70p postcards, and then somehow I accidentally spent nearly £40 on things I'm almost certain I didn't actually need. But they did cheer me up!
Small Youtube Channels I Love
When I started my Youtube channel in February, I truly realised how difficult it is to get more views and subscribers. Before I started creating content myself I never really noticed how most people I subscribed to never had less than 100K subscribers already. It's much more difficult for smaller channels to get noticed than it was a few years ago, which is why I thought I'd share a few smaller channels that I really enjoy.
