Hey, there. Sorry it’s been so long since I posted, but (as you might have already spotted) it’s because I’ve been redesigning this website. Not just redesigning, in fact - but moving to another platform.
Being Individual Online
Changing Your Blog or Channel Content
Back in January, I announced in a blog post that I wanted to make some changes - mostly to my YouTube channel. I said that I was going to stop doing so many beauty videos, and post more of the things that I had wanted to do previously but didn't think would "fit" on my channel: short films, mental health videos, photoshoots, photography tutorials, and my own artistic version of vlogging... which is exactly what I did.
#LivHelps: Blogging Event in Liverpool
I love blogging events, and will happily attend as many as I can blag my way into. Last Saturday, I went to #LivHelps in The Dough Bar in Liverpool. As always, I had my camera attached to my face for most of the day, and got some photos that you can see below.
For Youtube And Beyond: The Rode VideoMic
When I started my Youtube channel, I was lucky enough to already have most of the equipment I needed. However, once I got into the swing of things I noticed two things that weren't quite up to scratch: my confidence, and the sound quality. I'm still working on the former; but for the latter, I got the Rode VideoMic.
#NWMeet 2.0: Blogging Event
Last Saturday, I was lucky enough to go to the #NWMeet 2.0 in Liverpool, which was organised by the amazing Katy Gilroy (go and say hello to her, she's lovely). I got to meet lots of amazing women who I've been following on Twitter for a while, as well as see some new faces and find some new blogs to read.
